Paradise and Pennant Candied Fruit

Slightly Boozy Chocolate Cherry Fudge

This grown-up version of classic holiday fudge adds Paradise candied red cherries and a splash of Kirsch, cherry liqueur or brandy to bring out the cherry flavor. The little bit of alcohol enhances the chocolatey goodness of the fudge, making it perfect for any adult-centric holiday gathering.

Ingredients:

• ⅔ cup evaporated milk
• 1½ cups granulated sugar
• 2 TBS butter
• ¼ tsp salt
• 2 cups miniature marshmallows
• 1 12oz bag (about 2 cups) of semi-sweet chocolate chips
• ⅔ cup Paradise candied Red Cherries, chopped
• 2 TBS Kirsch, cherry liqueur, or brandy

Directions :

1. Line an 8×8 square pan with foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
